I'm having lots of fun getting used to Windows XP, especially since it seems to have a life of its own. I also bought a new webcam that I'm not too happy with. It should be here in a couple of weeks. In the meantime, I was able to resolve the problems with my old drive. It seems to have been caused by Zone Alarm after I had done an upgrade to AIM. It was really weird. I think my PC is finally kaput. It's only four years old. Two years ago I added another hard drive as my primary drive. That drive crashed this past June but I was able to recover it by booting off of my old drive which I had left in as a slave drive. Last month my primary drive crashed again.
I still haven't recovered it.
